VoidAnime respects the intellectual property rights of all content creators and copyright holders. We are committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and other applicable copyright laws. It is our policy to respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and applicable international laws.

In accordance with the DMCA, VoidAnime has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the services and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

Filing a DMCA Notice

If you believe that material available on or through VoidAnime infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification pursuant to the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)) to our Designated Agent. To be effective, your notification must include the following:

  1. Signature: A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  2. Identification of Copyrighted Work: Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works on VoidAnime are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
  3. Identification of Infringing Material: Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material. Providing URLs in the body of your email is the best way to help us locate content quickly.
  4. Contact Information: Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address at which you may be contacted.
  5. Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. Accuracy Statement: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe that material you submitted to VoidAnime was removed or access to it was disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. To be effective, a counter-notification must include the following:

  1. Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of Removed Material: Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
  3. Statement Under Penalty of Perjury: A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  4. Consent to Jurisdiction: Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which VoidAnime may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement or an agent of such person.

Counter-Notice Outcome

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complaining party. The complaining party will then have 14 business days to notify us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.

If the complaining party does not file a court action within this period, we will restore the removed material or cease disabling access to it. Please note that the DMCA process is a legal proceeding, and we encourage all parties to seek independent legal counsel before submitting a notice or counter-notice.

Knowingly misrepresenting that material or activity is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may subject you to liability for damages and attorney's fees. Do not make false claims.
